Before you save your first project
Is the CAD editor still free?
Yes. Open, edit and download local DWG and DXF drawings without an account. Projects adds optional private online storage and revision history.
What can I try without paying?
Create a verified account for one private project, three saved revisions in total, 25 MB of storage and files up to 10 MB. Try one active client download link with 24-hour expiry. No card and no automatic charge.
What does a client receive?
A download page for the specific revision you chose. Clients do not need an account. Links do not provide browser editing, comments or access to your other drawings. Revoke a link to stop future downloads; copies already downloaded remain with the recipient.
Who can access my drawings?
Your files are stored in a private store and require your signed-in account, unless you create a client link. Anyone who has that link can download its revision while it is valid. Private projects never appear in the public gallery and are not sent to AI services.
What happens if I cancel?
Your paid limits continue until the end of the paid period. Then your account returns to the free allowance. Existing drawings remain available to download and delete, even if you are over that allowance. Paid client links pause; new saves require usage within the free limits or a renewed subscription.
How are revisions and backups handled?
Each completed save keeps a separate original drawing with your revision note. Saving is explicit: local edits are uploaded only when you choose Save to Projects. We do not automatically delete existing projects just because you cancel. Keep an independent backup of critical work. Deleting a project removes all its revisions and client links.
